dos, tres
Today consisted of the best and worst examination of my life.
Barely molested ki before I stepped in; revision that I tried to start at the beginning of june aside, I 1. scanned through last year's block test papers and 2. karen lee's amazing critical thinking question and also I 3. asked charmaine about hume this morning. However note that through sheer intellectual curiosity, I've perused a third of moral philosophy: a reader (over the course of three months. yes i have been hogging oh slay me now) and I've answered class assignments on ethics etc (with short passages, but we make do with what we can!!).
So, ethics came out for the essay. And for the critical thinking thirty marks question. And I tied negative utilitarianism into the third question, and for the fourth question I used kantian ethics + utilitarianism as well as positive and normative economics(!!11 see i knew taking econs was geniuzz).
forgot to mention that the ki test was total crack.
loved my essays; feel attached to three out of four of them (not that the last -> any less but the three -> more!).
if there's a confirmed question for ethics at the end of this year no need to study already k.
(.. i think i'm picking up phrases from people everywhere dang.)
.. For physics, I think you'll hear everyone else speak about it but I'm just going to mention that
1. 75% of my mcq was done via elimination (hi jez i see what you mean by practicing mcq, though i doubt you ever went this far)
2. "newton's second law states that the rate of change of momentum is proportional to time". While we were waiting to hand in our papers, I flipped back to scan answers and hmm, yadda yadda newtons's second law yeah lah I know this la- wait isn't N2L FORCE EQUALS MASS TIMES ACCELERATION WHY DOES MY ANSWER HAVE NO FORC-
I'm going to blame it all on afternoons. Or just the time period. Or the alignments of venus and uranus or whatever.
